67 upgraded suspension, what tire do you suggest

I just installed a full, front and rear Hochkis suspension with a 3" drop, with new Bilstein shocks, added front and rear Hellwig sway bars, 4 wheel power disc from Inline tube with drilled and slotted rotors. Now I am at the point of what to do with tires, I want to use the widest possible for rear, and something that fits and handles for the front, what are you using for rims, off set, size...What about tires? I do not want to do any modifications to the body to fit. Thanks for any suggestions and help

Is that kit 3" front & rear? I haven't looked it up yet as I've got different suspension kits front & rear for mine. I was thinking of 3" up front, but not sure where that will put me. I'd like to run 18x8s to make sure everything clears my tubular control arms, tie rod end and whatever else might be in the way. I've got the CPP 2" dropped spindles (I know everybody, I know) that came with a CPP Big Brake Kit (13" drilled & slotted frt rotors - 12" same rears) So I want to stuff the biggest tires/wheels I can - say a 8" wide rim up front with a 245/40 series tire (would like 45 series) and on the back I keep seeing the 9.5" wide rims (I may just go 9") with a 275/40 series tire. Again I like the 45 series for ride quality.
So there are quite a few threads on "how wide of a tire can I go" and they are all almost the same, but just off on the back spacing to not rub. I know, 50 year old cars that have tiny differences on tolerances & measurements. But all in all I think I was looking at a 9.5"rim with a 5.5" back space ... maybe I'll go 9" with a 5.0"-5.25" back space but the same wide tire. ??

Sorry, hey good luck man on your search. Please post some pics when you decide.
