1968 suspension v8 small block vs v6 cars
I have a 1968 Camaro that was originally a 250 v6. A previous owner upgraded to a 327.
When I am buying parts (non-engine, like suspension, brakes, etc) for the car do I need to specify that it is the v6 model? It’s my understanding that the base model cars in 68 were all the same. Is that correct?
The first items I want to address are suspension and brakes and don’t want to make a costly mistake just as I’m getting started.
Thanks in advance for your help both to this question and future questions. I’m just getting started on the project so I’ll have a lot of them

Welcome, Snowrider, and its L6.
There are different spring rates for Camaro equipped with L6 & and SBC, & BBC.
But, going from L6 to SBC, height will drop about 1/2 inch.
Included is part of the 1968 AIM page of rates. Top fpur are L6, F41 is special suspension, read stiff.
