My 67 RS/SS wake up
When my daughters started collage I put my Camaro away to save money. Its been sitting for about 5 years. It was started last 3 years ago. When I put it away I did put in Sta-bil in the fuel with each fuel add. I am going to replace all the brake seals and hoses. I am also doing the heater core and coolant hoses. The goal is to just get it dependable. Upgrades are coming over the winter.
Moving everything out of the way so I can slide the 67 over to the lift.
Brake parts are here except the front hoses. Rock auto shipped them from a different warehouse. They are a week away.
I order a lot from Rock in the last few years, one magnet per order.

I am curious if 4th gen rims will fit, At some point I will be testing it. I need tires and I am thinking of upgrading the brakes to 4th gen this summer.

Well the Sta-Bil worked good. After a new battery and 30 seconds of cranking she fired up and ran decent but something in the dash started smoking. Scared the crap out of me. I was imagining trying to explain why my car burn up 72 hours after I insured it. I am guessing either a ground or the ignition switch.

The short was easy to find, in fact I took off more parts then needed. It was just a faulty repair done 20 years ago to the reverse light. A new wiring harness is on the to do list as it is original and has a few repairs.
The brake have not been touched in 20 years, drums came off with just hand pressure, everything looks good so new wheel cylinders and hoses, a master cylinder and a brake flush then on to the coolant system. Things are not moving fast, I am still recovering from gallbladder surgery that went real bad. Just work an hour or so at a time.

Nothing to show today, I used the HF brake bleeding tool to get all the 20 year old brake fluid out of the system before any new parts go one. Last thing you want to do is put new wheel cylinder on and push 20 years of crap into them.

Nice 67 you got there Gorn! Pace yourself, get well, and no hurries no worries. A picture of a Mustang in a Camaro garage????????????? Is that LEGAL in your part of the woods? Hopefully, it doesn't hurt your moderator status.
