Another quick update! A guy on the FBN board has donated all the body and paint work! We're going to take the car down to him in the next few weeks. He's going to do all the finish welding, clean up all the body, straighten it, and spray primer and paint. It'll be ready for assembly when it gets back!

The end is in sight!

great build for a great cause, i was in the service and served in iraq, and i can imagine how much that meant to your brother. comming home to your family is a gift enough, let alone coming home to family and one badass camaro.

great to see the sponsors pull together for him! shows what these companies are really made of

Car is headed for paint and body on Monday!

I realized as I was packing up the truck with the sheetmetal for the car that we don't have a trunk lid. Doh, forgot about that one.

Car is loaded on the trailer and packed to the hilt, headed out at 6am tomorrow for paint and body!

My camera was being stupid and wouldn't take pics when I got it to the shop, but here it is heading out! The guy working on it is going to send pics as he gets progress done!

I take it he didnt like your body work? i thought i looked fine. again, progress looks great

I didn't really do any of the body work, but basically the entire car was unfinished welds and open gaps. The only part I did was the one quarter that he sanded down. Didn't look terrible, but he wanted to strip all of it down just to make sure everything is how he wants it.
