Sooooo. How "man-ly" is this? About 2 months ago I slipped and fell while running to get out of the rain and landed pretty hard on my ***. Well today I went to the doctors because it was still pretty sore. Turns out somehow I broke my *** (tail bone)!!!! So I thrashed on the car last week with a broken ***. This just shows that when I'm in the garage nothing else really matters... Just thought I'd share this story.

It's been a while since I updated this post. Well, Air ride made good on the shock and that's been fixed for a while. I do now have paddle shifters installed and have been fixing all the rattles, creeks, and moans in the car. Pretty much only have to do body work and paint now (pretty boring actually). But I AM tired of coming out to my car where ever I park and answer questions about it. The wife says people are paying respect to the "Car God"...

I am moving back to Maine/New Hampshire in April (Kittery area) after spending 11+ grueling years in Hawaii... Can't wait to meet new car guys back there again (originally from Maine).

I have a few pics from some car shows I'll post. Unfortunately, there no longer is a track here on Ohau, and probably won't be another for many more years the way this damn state works... But I hope to go to the track in Epping, NH next summer. Not really built for the track, but would be nice to see what it could run. I'm running 3.53's because that was the tallest gear that could come in the Dana 60. I wanted a reliable "cruiser" with this build and didn't want 3000+ RPM on the highway or anything...

Has anyone tried putting C6 Corvette seats in a first gen? I'm considering it. I need some bolster and some comfort would be nice too. Plus they have power. What are the chance of them bolting right in? Anyone use any other OEM style seats that they really like? I'm looking for comfort with power and to not slide around while cornering.

Thanks,
Derrick

BTW, I'm no longer in Hawaii. Now located inn eastern NH. Always looking for local shows/cruises. All my toys after some baths :

Thanks gfrench. I've been kind of under the radar here...

I just bought my new seats (ebay). 2007 Z06 seats. I can't wait for some 'comfort' driving the car.

Here are what the seats look like. They should go well with my final plans for the car and the paint job I want... Only odd part is the Z06 embroidery on the headrest, but I can live with it.
