Thanks. But that might be a bit premature. The bend radius of the outer most bend is roughly double of what it needs... So I am either going to have to rebend the piece or bend a new one to fit it correctly. Either way it is gonna take some time to get it right. Either way it is fun.

So here is the almost finished panel. All cut in and mostly tacked in. I think that I have maybe another hour left and it should be complete.

More to come as I get used to working in the heat of my garage... I guess the desire to work on my car has overcome my desire to stay out of the heat!

Next it's on to the inner rocker on the pax side that is rotted out. There are pics of it earlier on this thread...

Watcing your progress is inspiring. I have been spending most of my time with an angle grinder removing the bondo from my car and am glad I don't have to spend the time doing the amount of work you've had to do. Your work is amazing. Hopfully you'll get A/C in that garage and can knock out some more this summer.

Wow really nice work. I so want to learn how to cut and weld. I wish I had a garage to do this again.

I had the chance to get into the garage the other day and this is what I got cleaned up this time around. I started working on the inner rocker to get that repaired. I cut out all of the rot that was in there and got rid of the rest of the floor. I am waiting to cut out the rest of the floor in the back corners until I get the inner and outer wheelhouses fixed as there isn’t much metal holding the car together back there. Here are some pics:

Okay everybody, I have been MIA around here for a while now and I thought that I would catch you guys up on the progress. I was a little miffed by the problems that this site was having so I decided to go elsewhere to post my stuff. Well I am back and here is the update.... I have been working when I can between deployment, standing duty at work, going to college and well... work! Here are some pics...

I have ordered a lot of sheetmetal from BelAirBob, he has a website www.belairbobs.com and has great customer service. He is the nicest guy to deal with too!
