Here is the Pax Side

Here is the driver's side...or should I say...MY SIDE...hahaha

Then repair the rotted part on the Pax side rocker as seen previously in the thread and I should be golden...

wow man it's really getting somewhere. I could never imagine doing all that ourselves. I think if we did it would take years to finish. My hat off to you for all the hard work.

This makes me gladI bought a car that doesnt have any major rust, then again how many cars have a lot of rust in the southwest?

I can't wait to get home and rip my car apart, I'm quite sureI wont need to do any major body work like FlightMechYJ68, most of my time will go into stripping paint, smoothing out the firewall, and rebuilding the dash. some stuff will be out sourced like the subframe, engine build, paintand powdercoating. I'm planning on taking welding and body work classes at my college, hopfully i'll get some major work done beforeI get deployed again.

Umm, yeah... I never really took a metalworking class so much... HOWEVER, I do have complete metal/machine shop at my work that I practice on all the time... As far as welding goes, I did take a class on that and it was very benficial... If you do not have the time to take a class, get the lincoln welders guide book or any other book like that... They are helpful and can make a good welder better...

I think of it likegluing metal together with molten metal...and it is flippin' cool too...

Is it just you doing all this work or do you get some help from some friends? Either way it looks great man, I just wanted to know if your spending all the time in the garage by yourself...I'm pretty sure everyone can appricate the amount of hard work you are putting into your car.

Well, pretty much so far it has just been me... I am kinda not so right in the head that way as I either can't find anyone that would donate the time (or has the time to donate for that matter), or they say they'd love to help and I ask them and they are busy and what notor they just don't care... So I end up doing everything by myself...

The good/bad part of doing it all alone is that you have no one to blame but yourself if it goes south on you...and turns out like garbage...
