You do have your work cut out for you, glad to see you plan on keeping and restoring your 69. I seem to remember quite a while back you considering getting rid of it. What size (width and dia.) are those rally wheels? I might be interested when the time comes. Also, those heads are over the counter 1969-70 Chevy 350, 64cc chamber, 1.94" intake, 1.5" exhaust valves, with 160cc intake runners. They're definitely not Pontiac, Chevy and Pontiac are totally different, non-interchangeable engines.

Thanks 'O' i'm looking forward to getting back into it.

69, This is what I was told about the heads.. I actually researched them before and found them to be the same as what you just posted. I know they will fit the 350, I just dont know if they will be better that the iron ones that came with the engine. I will get some pics of those posted up soon as well.
as far as the rallys, I cant say for sure but I think I ran the numbers once, or looked in the book and found them to be the stock ones for a 69. I've got the old school centerlines for it now so if you want them let me know, ill save em for ya.
There are a bunch of goodies for this ingine combo that I keep finding in the boxes as I go through stuff again.. stuff I totaly forgot about, like the headers. I decided to keep it, unless someone comes along with the right amount.. but I dont think anyone will, not enough for me to break even at least. So now I get to finish it. I never heard back from the guys uncle who would do it on the cheap, but I did network with a good body guy at the new job and he said he can come by some time and give me a hand.

This is some goop and a few nuts and a bolt. my best guess is it is a glob of fiberglass hardner stuff with some hardware mixed in. It is all comming out, unless it has sound deadening properties....

The nut (for the sub frame) under the at the passanger side fire wall was a real chore. I had to cut a hole in the floor to get a wrench in to it. What a pain.
