I can't wait to see the roof replacement! If it's not too much to ask, can you take some pics of that part? I am going to replace meny roof myself and would love to see someone who knows what they are doing in action!!!!

Nice photos and details....It's gonna be sweet when it's done!!!

I go every sat and take pics. This is a slow process so I'm sure I will get some detailed pics of the roof replacement. Ok so here's what I saw today. Still not ready for the quarter to go back on....sorry blade.....but he got alot of work done. I circled in red the parts that were replaced. From left to right.....the rocker, the gas tank is back on, and the lower inner fender below the trunk.

This is a close up of what's left to cut out and fabricate. Below it you can see the new rocker piece better.

And this is a pic of the quarter just clamped on. It will be a few weeks till it goes on permanently. He has to coordinate the fit with the doors.

And now I am out of money. We are making one big purchase order for parts. $2200 with freight. Roof & frame, door skins, front inner wheelhouses, front fenders, valance, head panel, rear spoiler....probable more but I don't have the list in front of me.

No from the looks of things it will be a few more weeks just to get the inside of the quarters done. Then before he can weld on the quarters the doors have to be done and he fits them both together so there are no gaps. And I'm sure that before that happens the roof needs to be done. So it's time to place one big order and get everything here and save some freight.

Cool pictures... It looks like you are in the same thing as me. I need to put a new skin on my pax door before I really want to start putting my quarters on and lining up my tail pan... but first I have to replace my outer wheel houses...Man that's a lot...

the rear end is coming together well but he will have to cut where I have circled and drop it a bit so it lines up with the bottom.
