Looking for a 69 camaro project

Hi there, I have been looking all over for a 69 Camaro project car. Preferably a z28 but anything would be great. Would like to find one with a motor and trans, for under 5000 maybe 6000. Any websites or anything would help lots thanks for your time!

Bruce, have you checked out that site yourself? Just wondering if it's worth the required $25 registration fee to be able to view the current inventory.

No I haven't. I saw the OP wanted to try and find a car to purchase within his spending allowance and I kind of laughed about that, but then I saw this list and had to take a double look to make sure this was a current listing.

Those prices look like something from back in the 80's.....kind of hard to believe there isn't some hidden fee's.

Yeah, I kinda turned up an eyebrow myself. What makes the Z/28 a Z/28 is the engine. He'd blow his budget just on an original 302 alone.

You could blow that budjet on just a cross ram setup........

Man I'd love to have one of those. I had the 302/4 speed once and that was fun, but a cross ram would bet awesome.

But you never know, a guy here at work knows someone that bought a 68 Z28 that was found in a barn, with a extra set of fenders, for $5000. It was all original right down to the 302/ 4 speed.

My brother-in-law knows a guy, whom talked to this older women, who lived on a farm and he husband past away, she said there is some old Chevy out in the barn, if you want it, you can have it for $500. He went out to look at it, it was a 53 Corvette. He told her he'd give her more and she said, $500...

I'm happy I won my car in a bet, but gave the kid $250....I still won out on that deal.

So the moral of the story is, finding his dream car for that price, could happen.

Yah I know my budgets small but I'm in highschool right now and I started working yesterday to save up more $. But on my first day (Chevrolet dealership) there was a 67 with those vents on the hood the chrome ones so there should be something big under that.
