Tan interior for 67 - 68 Camaro?
Hi!
Finally getting around to restoring my 68 Camaro. I've had the old car since 1992. Now that kids are about out of high school, I can do this!
My question... Interior color.
I'm finding stock Camaro interiors everywhere. I don't want to go back with a black interior. I'll be painting the dash to match the body color. I want to put down brown carpet and tan interior.
Does anyone here know if there are any companies out there that make tan interior - dash, seat covers, door panels, headliner, visor covers, sails...
Thanks!
Jason

Thanks, but not having much luck
I'm thinking a tan interior is something that may have to be custom built. I've emailed Legendary Auto Interiors to see if this is something doable. Otherwise, probably looking to stick black back in if I can't find anything.

Tmi is the leading manufacturer of Interiors for stock Camaro's, the closest color to tan in a 67 is Gold, but it is a rare color, but it is available in most of the catalogs. You could probably get a tan leather custom made, but it would cost you.

Great choice though. I worked with a girl many years ago that had a white '69 Camaro with Fawn interior. Then she had matching stripes put on the car. I've always wanted to recreate that car.
I did a '65 Chevy a few years ago and actually "painted" (or dyed) the interior since it was almost brand new. I went with a Palomino Tan in a Root beer Brown car. Looked pretty nice.
