I'm looking at a 1969 RS to buy, and have received pics from seller. Car appears 100% original and unmolested, original paint included! But the steering wheel is one I've never seen before - says "RS" in the center, and looks similar to the 1970 wheel, yet is different. Can anyone identify this wheel? I've scoured the internet and checked specialty sites like CRG and find no reference to this oddball. Any help appreciated, thanks!
Diameter looks to large for a 70, I found several that looked like this one but none with the square in the middle. The same search found nothing for the 70 or 71 models. It looks like the horn button is in the middle and not on the ends. If that is original is is very rare. I saw some rare wheels before and they would going for up to $1300 to restoration people.
