door stuck

Hi, my drivers door on the 67 Camaro HT is stuck closed and can't get it open. Tried recycling the lock couple hundred times, acts like it is working properly. tried prying it open from the outside, tried kicking it open from the inside. The outside handle feels like the lock is working and can tell the difference from locked and unlocked. in the door knob outside. Have the door panel off and things that I can see seem to be ok. SO where do I go from here to get this door open. Even tried jacking it up at the rear of the subframe and nothing. The screws from the latch are on the outside in the jamb where can't get at them

I have a suggestion that can be such a pain.Try taking the front fender off to get access to the door hinges .And then take the door off that way.

Yes, it is an RS car, so would be a real pain, and not even sure the latch pin would come out of the latch if I did take the door off. It has that big button on the end of it.

Update. spring on the paddle seems to be working as it should and lock seems to be working as it should, so door should open, but wasn't. Went in and loosened up the striker , and door still would not open. Was able to pry it open and door now open, but guessing the latching mechanism not functioning as it should, although it appears to be clean and greased up, so thinking maybe need a new latch.
