67 rs headlight motor problem and question
 

Hi,

Have a 67 rs Right side headlight motor will not open or close. All limit switches, diodes, etc. are fine. Need to test motor. Motor pigtail has 2 wires. Do I remember right that I put 12 volts to it and hooked up one way, it goes one way, hook up the other way, it goes the other? I think the motor is frozen. See grease has leaked out onto motor plate. These are repro motors I put in when I built the car 14 years ago. Thank you

hook hot to one and ground to the other / then reverse the wires. One way they should open , then close the othe way.
