Default Year to Year Styling

I have been lurking around for some time now. I hope to pull the trigger and bite off a project this spring. I like all of the first gen cars for different reasons, and have some dislikes as well. But with the 69 (my favorite) becoming harder to find than the earlier two years, I am curious what dimensions might be different between the years.

Wheel base, height, width, or any other styling q's that others like. I am not going to build a numbers car (unless I run across one I get a steal on), but a performer that I can drive. Do all the bodies have the same qualities or lack of something, or is the difference really on the outside?

Bottom line is that if I can get over the wind wing on the '67 are all three pretty much the same platform to start from?

67 and 68 is basically the same, with the major differences being mostly cosmetic; 67 wing windows, 67 has no side marker lights, and differences in the front marker lights, grille, and tail lights.
The 69 is a little wider than the 67-68, as evidenced by it using a wider rear spoiler. Despite that difference, all 3 use the same hood and trunk lid. 69 was also the first year for the locking ignition in the steering column, 67-68 has the key in the dash. And finally, the 69 is the only one-off body style Camaro ever built, which is part of what makes it "special".

..so the 69 is wider..is the total length longer? Is the wheel base the same?
What does "One-Off" body style mean? Thanks

1967-69 are built off the same platform, same 108" wheelbase. 69 is a little more than 3" longer overall than the 67-68 is.
By "one-off", the 69 body style stands alone....
Referring to the body style, minus any cosmetic, bumper, or lighting differences; 67-68:same. 1970-73:same. 1974-1981:same. 1982-1992: same. 1993-2002:same.
I split up the 2nd gen's even though they are technically the same "style", but there are distinct visual differences between them.

Wow C69..that's impressive.."stand alone".. Now if I had known that before I bought the 67..I might have ended up with one..

The 69 is a one year only body style, different body lines from the 68 and 70.
All the other years, in all the other generations, are multiple year body styles.
