Default What are these two U.S. Marshall seized cars worth?

They are going to be auctioned this week and I have no idea what they are worth. This is a ’68:

And this is a ’69:

Now I realize you can’t give any meaningful appraisal from a few pictures but assuming they run and look as good as the pictures suggest, would I be safe going up to $12K- $13K on each?

The pics of the 68 show an extreme high-rise hood, and in pic #3 what looks to be roll bars, along with some custom stitched interior. If those are indicators, you could have a hot rod and even some possible pro-street work done. The 69 shows Z28 badging and wheels that are normally kept for originality purposes. If that is an original 69 Z, by all means she is worth much more. As long as the cars are no-rust solid cars and have average under-the-hood hardware, then a $12-13k price is easy. In best case you have a real Z and/or a pro-street, then $12-13k is a real steal... or maybe they were already a real STEAL and why they belong to the Marshal already.

Well, they had a '64 Nova fully built like the first car that sold for around $12K a month ago and I'm still kicking myself for not getting it. We shall see.

The 69 looks like a driver quality car. If it is a true solid Z/28, it would easily sell in the mid to upper 30's.
The 68 (wrong grille) definitely looks like a pro-street. I can see a roll bar, and fatty tires in back. The front of the car looks to be sitting a little high though, like maybe no engine in it? Hard to know from the pic. Valuing that one is a little tougher, but $7-8k isn't out of line if it's a solid roller project car, more if it's a driver.

the 68 looks like a hack job over spray on the center dash bezel, half the steering column painted, wrong grille,*** end squated a lil to much,no engine, wrong gas pedal/no brake pedal pad,etc... 5-8 as a roller 8-10 if running
the 69 looks pretty nice and if its real big money
15-20 if its a clone, 30 and up if its real with a DZ engine coded 302
correct me if im wrong but arent all 69 z/28`s 4 speeds i think i read that some where that no autos were made?

The first one was a drag car without engine. Pretty nice shape and went for $7750. The second one was a mild modified with a built motor and stock body and interior. No show car by any means but still nicely presentible and it sold for $12,100.

Wow, guess I nailed the 68 right on the nose.
The 69 was a real steal, unless it was hiding a lot of cancer.
Where were these auctioned at?
