What makes a 68/69 Z/28 look like a Z/28?

In my 30+ years of tinkering with cars, I have never owned a GM product. I like all cars, just went down the path of mustangs/shelby/cobras and that has always kept my interest. My last car was a GT350 clone, that someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Time for a new project and found a decent starting point to make a Z/28 clone. What are the unique visual parts that make the Z/28 look like a Z2/8?
dual exhausts with bright tips
Z/28 emblems on grille, front fender and rear panel
special front and rear suspension (sits lower...have to get the stance right)
rear bumper guards
15 x 7 wheels with special center caps and trim rings
front valance panel
rear deck spoiler
special paint stripes on hood and rear deck
Did I get everything?

Not a whole lot really,a few emblems mostly,most '68 & '69 Z's had racing stripes and some had cowl induction hoods,maybe corvette ralley wheels but not all.
'67's are quite rare and look like a plain jane car,they didn't even get emblems but they had the 302/4speed.
Only a few hundred were built that first year and most were raced on the track so they're quite rare.
Z28 was more of a performance package,'67-'69 Z28 first gen cars only came with a 302/4 speed and were the only cars to ever get the 302 engine.
They could be had with the RS package making an RS Z28,that would have hidden headlights a front and rear spoiler etc.
There were no SS Z28's just the plain Z28 or RS Z28.
Some had high end options like a dual quad crossram intake and higher compression and 4 wheel disc brakes but the lions share were just the standard single 4 barrel 302,under rated at 290hp.
They had a factory aluminum intake and Holley carb,2.02 intake valves (angle plug 2.02s on the crossram engine) and a solid lifter cam like the earlier SHP Corvette 327's.

The cowl induction hood was an available option, but only with the Z/28 package. The hood wasn't even available till the later part of the 1969 model run. No cowl hood for the 67's or 68's. If you see one with it, it was added later.
There wasn't a special "lowered stance" specifically for the Z/28.
Rear bumper guards were an option available for all models.
Rally wheels were also an option to all models, not just a Z/28 exclusive.
The spoiler was a late production option to other models, and automatically came with the Z/28. Early 69's didn't get a spoiler. If you see a 67 or 68 with a spoiler, it was added later.

It is very interesting to me. I know so much about so little in the car world; I know the 64 1/2 - 66 mustang/shelby like the back of my hand, but know so little about the camaro. I really like the look of the 69 Z/28, has to have the hood, front chin, rear spoiler, stripes, ralley wheels and Orange / Black stripes. I have a 68 camaro that I am looking at. It has a non-original 396/muncie 4 speed. In the end, this car would be really a great car; looks and performance to back it.
How would a car like this be seen in the Camaro community? A non original big block in a car that closely replicates a Z/28? If it is done really well, would it bring $20K+ in the open market?

If your asking for peoples opinions, your going to get them from one end of the spectrum to the other. The value of the car is always dependent upon the persons likes and dislikes. Generically speaking we all like the camaro as it originally was produced. My opinion is as long as you don't cut up the body with heavy mods, keep at least close to the original. And not be dishonest about it when it comes time to sell ( sush as pawn off an inline 6 as an original SS/RS ).
To me the value of the car is bonus, but I just like looking at it. I don't always understand people staring at art in a gallery, but I can relate.
