We need another Car (1967-8) Camaro
Hello,
New to this site.
I teach Automotive Technology at a High School in Central NY. Each year my students purchase a car to build/restore and then raffle. The past two years we have built Shelby Cobras. Each June the car is raffled off to one lucky person. The proceeds are used to purchase the following years' project and give tools to graduating seniors.

I personally have built 6 other first generation Camaros and would like to give my students the opportunity of working on one of these American classics. My first year teaching we built my 1967 Camaro RS 327 4-spd.
If you know of a 1967-8 Camaro for sale, please forward information to me. I am looking for a solid project car. I will not work on a car that needs to be should made into soup cans. We simply do not have the time for an extensive project. I do not care what options are on the car as we plan to make it what we want. A 6-cylinder car will work.
Thanks for your time,

welcome to the board and I wish you luck in your search
it might help to give a price range and minimum condition and options (rearend type, braking system, etc) to make sure no one wastes your time and you don't waste theirs
sounds like you have a cool job ahead of you though

Hello,
As mentioned above, I do not care so much about the options for our project. I can say that we do not have the time to complete extensive metalwork. I am looking for a clean car. A 6-cyl. car would be fine.
As far as a price, it depends on the car. This is a high school class project, funds are vry limited. A fair price for a fair car.
Thanks for the help,
