Default Water spots :(

Washed the car last weekend and didn't get it shammy'd quite fast enough. When i got it dry there was white outlined water spots all over the car. I was able to remove the white parts of the spots but if you look in the right light you can see the shadows of the spots in the clear coat. I'm on well water and it is hard, normally I get the water off before it dries by itself but no this time.
Any ideas on how to remove the spots entirely?
Thanks,

Wax it or wash again.

I looked at clay bar, do I have to use another product between the clay and the car for lubrication?

Yes, use a quick detail spray to keep the bar lubricated
