Default Upper Oil Leak

After coming back from a deployment I started my car up and it was running like normal. After giving it some gas it started shooting oil what I believe is around the left head. I am assuming it is coming from the head gasket, but unsure. Does anyone have any other ideas of where it could come from on the top of the engine?
Thanks,
Rodger

If the oil is coming out above the exhaust manifold, then it's most likely your valve cover gasket. Not a big deal.
Or is it leaking below the manifold between the head and block? That would mean the head gasket.
