Default Upholstery Install

Updating my 69 camaro seats with new material and foam. Any suggestions for softening material prior to installing to make the procedure easier ?

Wait for a nice warm sunny day, and set the upholstery out on the driveway/parking lot for an hour or two.

Steamer for the win.

1500 Watt Steam Cleaner Kit

You can use a heat gun but it is real easy to destroy the new material. None pressureized Steam should never be much over 220 degs.
