Turbo 400 question

I just picked up a Turbo 400 for my next project how can I tell if it's out of A truck or car and what yolk do I need thanks

It should have a tag on the side telling engine application and date made.
And partial VIN stamped onto it, maybe above pan rail, as this would tell original vehicle.

Is it true a turbo 400 from a truck uses A different yoke I know it bolts on the part of that goes in the transmission some one told me is different any thoughts and thanks

If OE vehicle had a two-piece driveshaft, then the front yoke bolted onto the output shaft.
If going to one-piece driveshaft, then output shaft would have to be changed for acceptance of a slip yoke.
