Well my Camaro has been sitting for a while unloved by me. I've tried to see it because i'm broke now that i'm going to college. Well i've decided to keep working on it until it is either finished or someone makes an offer i can't refuse. Sorry i don't have pics camera died last night at the drag strip. but they'll be coming soon. Until then i have ordered a few parts from ricks, the trunk corner panels and a trans tunnel. I need to learn to weld luckily i have a good friend who was a welder in the navy so he can give some tips. rear is a Dana 60 with 4.11 and a full spool, rear tires measure 33x19.5x15 trans is a th-350 2800 stall and the engine will be a 500WHP 383 and will probably have a 100 shot plate kit on it.

Plan on this one taking a few years i've still got 2 1/2 years of school left it would be great to get it finished by the time a graduate but it isn't likely with tuition going up $1400 next semester.

 

Welding sheet metal is a bit of a art. Most professional welders do not know the tricks of the trade. My Brother is a welding application engineer for Air Gas. He told me some tricks on keeping the heat down but I learned a lot more from sheet metal guys.
