Superchargers for a 350
Hey everyone. I've been looking to supercharge my 68 camaro hopefully within the next year. Does anyone have any suggestions on who makes the best chargers. Also, a friend showed me this pic and I was curious as to what kind of charger this was. Any feedback would help. Thanks.

Didn't I just say that?
j/king.
I want to know how he's getting clearance on that with the hood. I mean it doesn't look like a cowl hood to me but I can't really tell from the pic. If it a cowled hood it's not by much.

That picture is dark. Looking at it in Photoshop and lightened up, I can see the cut-out for the air cleaner and open space above it. It's a cowl hood, but doesn't look like a tall one. I'm still curious though, even with a cowl hood there's still an obstruction since the EFI unit is longer than the air cleaner opening is round, and it doesn't look cut out. The angle of the picture could be making it look taller than it really is. Besides, a good "slam" of the hood will give it all the clearance you need!!! [:@]
Camaro69> Yeah, but my hood has the same features as that. It has the area for the air cleaner and all that jazz but it's not cowled at all. I'll take some pics later on tonight after I get home and I'll show you what I'm talking about because my neighbor said the same thing. He was like, "Now that's weird, you got it looking like a cowled hood setup but your hood's all normal height! Yee haw!" Then he spat chaw into a spitoon that just happened to be in my garage. O.k. some of that didn't happen but you get the idea.
Also, could he have an aftermarket front crossmember and mounts to let it sit lower?
