Default Steering gear replacement

My car is in the body shop with thefront cap off. So, I thought it would be a great time to go from manual steering to power since everything is in the open.
I really don't know what to ask because the car is not right outside in the garage where I can check out everything. But... here goes.

I have a 1967 camaro with manual steering and I want to change over to power steering.

I bought a used'69 steering box with the pitman arm already on thegearbox.

Do I need to take the pitman arm off first, or will this slide onto the existing setup?
In case I need to take off the arm, is there a tool to take it off?

Again, I'm looking at the gear box only at this time and not the car. Is there such a thing asgetting the gear boxcentered as far as turning right to left?

Also, is the rag joint the same on a manual vs. power? Or will I have to replace it?
I just replaced the manual not long ago. It may have 100 miles on it, if that much.

Thanks
