Default sratched glass

Has anybody had any luck with getting scratches out of glass. I can feel them with my fingernail and they are white.

I have never attempted it on a car, but I have removed minor scratches from a computer monitor glass. It was deep enough to just barely catch your fingernail on when you ran it over. I used a glass polishing compound, not sure if it would work on car glass.

I got it from my brother, it was called scratch magic or something close. You basically use a very fine sanding pad and a polishing compound. I have also used the plastic restore kit on headlights. maked dull faded plastic look brand new and clear, but that uses a bunch of sanding, polishing, then a liquid sealant coating.

if you can feel them under your nail, you are probably out of luck rubbing them out

My windsheild could use some polishing from all the years of road debris. Whendriving into the sun the other day, had a very hard time. So ILooked on the net and found some polishing kits but looking for someone who has experienced the process. Thanks StickIt for the advice from August, will take a look!

Hello, i own a autoglass shop in Montana, and if you can fill them with your nail or razor blade or whatever you wont get them out. If you buff or polish it to much you will distort the glass and that wont come out either. if anyone is interested in new glass let me know ill send you in the right direction.
