Shoulder seatbelt holes for 67 camaro
 

I’m seeing lots of conflicting pictures of where the upper seatbelt holes for the shoulder mount is located in 67 Camaros. Some show them right above the window where the front and back windows meet and some show them really far back over the sail panels almost like they would be for the rear passenger. I’m really not wanting to poke a bunch of holes in my headliner finding them. Can anyone shed some light and/or post a pic of the mounting holes without a headliner installed? Below is is a pic from a factory brochure showing it installed right above where the windows meet and another one showing the mount point much farther back.

A quick update for anyone who may have this same question in the future. I found my mount holes directly above the spot where the front and rear windows meet. They are about 2 inches above the trim and were very difficult to feel through the headliner by pressing around. I ultimately pulled off the trim for the headliner at that spot just far enough get my hand in to put the screws in. I couldn't get a good picture, but I found a video from a guy who had his headliner completely removed and shows the location.

I believe the other mounts are for the rag tops.

Newer manuals have more pictures and more info and non- GM manuals do not assume you have all the GM special tools. I still think it is worth it because you can get lucky and one picture can save you all kinds of headaches.
