saginaw or muncie

How can you tell a saginaw from a muncie with it still in the car, thanks again

Easiest way is use a magnet. If it sticks Saginaw, if not Muncie. Muncie cases are aluminum. Also on a Saginaw all the shifter linkages are on the cover. On the Muncie the reverse lever is on the tail shaft cover.
