Default RS or not?

I'm new here so if this has been covered, please forgive me.

I recently bought a 68 and am in the process of restoring it. The car as a rs gas cap but I don't know if it is a true rs or just has the gas cap. How can I tell and what is the difference regarding wheel well moldings? Apparently they are different on the rs than base model?

Thanks

the big difference is does the car have the hideaway headlights?

std 68 Camaro grill:

exposed headlights

68 rs grill:

hideaways, if the grill is not in the car then look for a big tank on each side in the front for the vacuum to operate the doors

also the rs cars had the backup lights below the rear bumper like this

also there was badging on the front fenders that spelled out rally sport and usually the factory steering wheel had a rs badge in it unless it has the wood wheel.

Thank you for your help. I see now that my car is a base model. I'm okay with that - just wasn't sure what I had.
