67 Rally Sport, when i pull out the headlight switch to the parking lite position the front parking lites and the rear tailights and tag light up, this has just happened as at one time the rear park lites did work in conjunction with the front parking lites, any ideas, think its the headlight switch or is there a relay to be concerned and if so which one where

I don't recall any relay for that. I cold very well be the switch. Since the switch makes contact with which lights get triggered for power, it might be in there. Easy check is to pick up a new one and keep your receipt. I'll take another look in the morning and let you know if there's a relay inline.

 

Nope. Did not find any relay in that curcuit. It has to be the switch or maybe a bad ground for one of the lights. Bad grounds cause all kinds of weird stuff to happen. It very common for a bad bulb to cause a shift in the signal speed of your flasher too. Trial & Error. Break it down one at a time. Check for any loose or damaged wires too. Mice chewed mine away so I have to replace a few things.

there are no relays anywhere for that circuit. just be careful if you take Nitro's advice on buying another switch. a lot of parts houses won't allow opened electrial parts to be returned no matter what shape they seem to be in
