Radiator Manufacturers
I have a 69 Camaro that I am swapping in a BBC into, and I need to replace the stock radiator.
Any recommendations on good radiator manufacturers? What people think about:
Be-Cool
Griffin Radiator
Ron Davis
I have heard that Spal fans are the best. I was thinking of going with the Ron Davis radiator that is a direct fit for 67-69 Camaros (P/N 11-16CA67 with coolant recovery tank and dual 13" Spal fans)

RE: Radiator Manufacturers
Check with jegs..they have some good aluminum radiators that look as good as the be cools and are a few hundred less. www.jegs.com

RE: Radiator Manufacturers
as I've posted before, I try hard to stay away from any Jeg's and Summit products that are anymore than just hardware pieces. their quality is really second rate because they usually have them made by inferior suppliers and most of the time, they can't even give you any tech info on them if you need it.
Be Cool is a real nice looking piece (hence the bigger cost) but the Griffin radiators are just as good without the looks or the price

Yes most of the jegs products are cheaper and not as good as the name brand, but the rad's seem to be well made. I've used 1 on a 68 cutlass with no problems, and plan to use 1 in the camaro...I know summit has, probably the same 1 but don't know first hand.....As far as water pumps, and heads I would stay far away form the summit/jegs brands.

RE: Radiator Manufacturers
i used the summit house brand aluminum (made by northern?)
- fit perfect
- had trans cooler already built in
- inexpensive
- dropped operating temp by 30f when running WaterWetter avg 180f(I think my old one was plugged though)
