Default Question on radiator core support mounts

I purchased new body mounts for my 68 Camaro, just the rubber OEM ones that all the parts places sell. All mounts were numbered and listed as to where they were to go. The install on the body mounts went really well. But the radiator core support mounts do not fit on the mounting hole of the core. The part numbers are correct per the instructions, any one else have this problem before?

Thanks in advance
Mike

Maybe I don't understand the question properly, the rubber radiator supports mount in the front support of the car, NOT in the radiator. There is a large piece of sheet metal that the radiator bolts to, the rubber support mounts push into that piece, they do NOT go into the radiator.

I have always know the part that the radiator bolts to as the radiator core support. The mounts are on the support on each inner side where the rubber mounts bolt on the bottom and top to the frame. All is well with my question I solved the problem. Part of the rubber mount was stuck in the hole which made it smaller. Goes right in now.
