Pricing Question
I was wondering what people thought about this price for a 69' 350 SS Tribute.
$29,000

Most the major parts are not original, and are from GoodMark. I'm really not sure how much something like that effects price. I mean, clearly it does, but I'm having a hard time knowing if a nicely restored, after market parts car, still hits the $30K range. From what I've researched, it feels a bit high.
I hope this isnt the wrong place for this sort of question, but I did look over the areas before picking this one.

Hey TAVS. Looks like a nice restoration and backed by full documentation. Those two things together can sell a nice looking car for a good price. However, the car market isn't as "crazy" high like it once was a couple years ago. The high price cars selling for $30k + are one of two different types these days. First are your documented "all original" and numbers matching cars that have been restored to their original state and the second are the professionally built custom cars with crazy drivetrains and expensive stereos like the Chip Foose builds. These two types of cars can even go for over $50k when done professionally enough but not common. The car in question is definitely a gorgeous car but it seems it meets a happy medium between one of these two types of supercars and your average driver. I'd say around a $25k car to take a guess without looking at it. Some people dump $10 to $15k into a paint job and try to get their money back as well. Something to keep in mind. There is also a number of Classic Car Appraisers available around the nation that could help you as well. They could pinpoint a more accurate price too. Overall, the car looks sweet. Good luck to ya!

That's a tough call for sure,it would be hard to build that car for much less and if you paid to have someone else build it for you you'd pay more without a doubt.
My guess is the builder is hoping to get back his parts money and maybe some money for his time, tough to do in this economy.
