I share your pain shannon but be warned, that's a dangerous path your on my friend. My Maggie67' was destroyed more than 20 years ago by my then psycho btich girl friend and I've morned her ever since...the car that is. I felt like that car defined me, I was planning to keep that car for life. I was devastated but through my misery, I learned a valuable lesson about material possessions and what's really important in life...I vowed never to become that attached to a car again. I restored and sold many cars since then and so It was only by chance when I bailed out my buddy's 67' rs project. My unhealthy sentiments started creeping back and I put forth my best efforts in reserecting my old flame while rationalizing it was far less work than I would've endured maintaining that psycho btich girl friend. Now fully restored better than the original ever was, I can't help but feel whole again and I plan on keeping Maggie for life but with the understanding that in the end...it's just a car.
