Pictures of 68 engine bay with 327 (4 bbl)
Hi folks.
Still very new to this list and also new to Camaros in general.
I recently purchased a '68 Convertible RS with a 327. (I am taking possession in the next couple of days).
So far I have determined the car was not originally an 8 cycl..it was a 6 ...so I suppose this is what they call a "clone". ??
The engine bay pictures of the car show a clean, well detailed compartment. But since it is not original, there is more than likely some errors.
Of course, this car will never be 100% correct...but I would really like to make it at least "look" correct for a 327 with 275HP (? is that correct rating??). BTW, it has a two speed Powerglide.
Could I trouble someone with a 327 (4 BBL) for a few pics of their engine compartment so I can compare with what's in mine.
Of course, now I'm going to spend the next few years identifying/correcting all the discrepancies in the rest of the car...I think that's supposed to be the fun part..:-)
Thanks for your help in advance.

here are a few of my 68 camaros engine. it is a #'s matching 327 275hp motor. only changes are a z28 over the counter aluminum intake(factory is cast iron) and a chrome open elament air cleaner(factory is a big snorkel). other than that it is all orginal just cleaned up.

Thanks camaroboy68. That's what I needed.
Sorry it too so long to reply....I was actually picking up my <new> Camaro yesterday and today. Spent the last two days in transit from North East Pennsylvania and just got back late this afternoon.
Now that the car is home, I'll take some pics of my engine bay, post them and we'll pick out the differences.
Thanks again!
