New build LS2 front disc brake problems

Hi all, I just purchased a new build 1969 LS2 with front disc brakes and rear drum. So car has zero miles, I took it out for its first drive and everything was good for about 3-5 miles then front brakes are smoking, smelling, creaking and are super hot. Pedal gets hard and braking becomes difficult. Another day I adjust the proportionating valve and everything seems good, hit the 3-5 mile mark and same issues. Today I shortened the brake pedal rod and pedal was nice and soft. Went for a ride same issues and car had major issues trying to move from a stop in 1st gear. Felt like the brakes were being pressed and a trailer was attached. Car also felt like it was pulling a trailer and loosing power after 4th gear. When car is jacked up front tires are difficult to get spinning by hand. Takes a lot of force. Any advice, tips and tricks greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sean, did you get this sorted out? What was the culprit?

Hi, yes it was a bunch of things lol. The rod in the booster was too long, the stainless steel lines on the master were kinked and the pads were warped. So once all that was adjusted it seemed to clear it up.
