I'm finally getting ready to paint my '68...long time and lots of work to get to this point. Now I'm wondering what type of paint to use...single stage urethane or base\clear. I'm going with black with a white SS stripe. I'm looking to have a paint job with a good shine and good depth. What do y'all have experience with?

 

Go with base clear , you will get nice deep shine with it, like on this 68 SS [Black with white SS stripes].
