I need some help guys
Hey guys I'm new here hoping to get some ideas or help.. So I have a original 69 camaro engine block #s matching 350, and a set of camel hump heads... I want to find out the best way to sell them without getting screwed, I know they are worth some cash and I need the money to finish the car.. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Kevin

You might get 1 or 1.5 k for it. Depending on who wants it. Is the motor complete? or just the bare block and heads?
You probably wont get what you want unless you find someone doing a full resto (concourse even) who really really wants the heads... otherwise a block form 69 are failry common.

You could try and put a thread in the 'for sale' section here. ebay.. find a broker.. To get top dollar you are really going to need to search. I wish I could tell you that you have gold there... but its more like silver. There arent alot of those heads around anymore, and not alot of (motorhead) mechanics around that know what they are.... so gwetting those two variables together will take time....
Good luck. Also, pics will help you sell it faster.

Thats what I am saying... maybe...2k.. who knows for sure. Really it depends on what someone wants to pay. Its not a super rare block, the heads are kind of hard to come by... but they are dated. Unless you find someone who knows what they are and knows the proper application you might not get as much. Personally, unless you are hurting for room in the shop I would keep them.. they are more of a novelty item.

those heads are usually stock Vette heads. I am not aware of them coming stock on the Camaro
are they 202's? are they with or without accessory holes? do they have push in or screw in studs?
also, I hate to say it, but those heads really hold no value anymore. back in the 80's they were worth good money because they had a lot of upside, but now you can buy better flowing aftermarket heads for a lot cheaper than you can build those
I've actually thrown out 2 sets of them for scrap, in the last few years
