Default HELP PLEASE! 1969 Standard to RS Front Conversion

Good morning! I'm new to this forum thing but desperate for help. In trying to switch my standard front end to the RS hideway front end without the expense of the conversion kits, I've purchased original replacement headlight bucket assemblies. With that being said, they each have a post that comes down with a foot on the end .... I am assuming the RS has holes cut out for such in the metal from the radiator support to the front bumper area but I have not seen an RS. Have y'all tried this? Did you have to cut 2" holes?

Secondly, the adapter brackets don't line up at all .... solutions?

The standard and RS inner fenders are different. You have to drill one large hole for the bellcrank, and two smaller mounting holes.
Can't see what isn't lining up with your adapter brackets, your link is showing the headlight assembly.

Also, the two headlamp assembly mounting pads on the fender are further back on an RS fender than a standard fender.
Remove the bezel, look on the inside of fender and see two bolts.
The pads the bolts go into are further back on a RS fender than a standard fender.
OE design RS headlamp assy will not fit on a std fender.
