Default Help with my 69 Camaro Restoration Frame MOUNTS!!!

Ok so I think I have gotten this figured out but I wanted some feedback. I have a 69 Camaro that came stock with a 307. I am replacing it with a 350 SBC and am currently trying to fit the engine mounts over the frame mounts. I have gone to many auto stores where everyone tells me the frame mounts are the same for the 69 307 engine and 350 engine so I should have no trouble. After buying 7 different motor mounts I found one that fit over my frame mount. After lowering the engine I am having so much difficulty lining up and need some advice. Thanks a lot!

Best, 21 year old learning as he goes...

The 350SS (and 302 Z28) frame brackets are different from the other small block brackets. If you are buying motor mounts for a 350, then that's your problem. All small block motor mounts bolt up the same to the block, so just get motor mounts for a 307.
