Help with 67 console shifter options
 

I have a 67 Camaro I'm building and I just got a 67 console. Are there any aftermarket automatic shifters that will work with this console or do I have to use the stock automatic shifter?

Stick or automatic?When I had a 4 speed in my 68 I made the boot fit under the console and made a new plate to fit in console with small slot cause shifter only moved like 3 inches at handle only like 1 1/2 to 2 in at plate

I forgot to say it was a short throw Hurst shifter, moved the shifter to the left and down closer to driver but it was still inside console where stock shifter came out

I would just mount new shifter and make new cover plate out of plastic sheet
