Need help with heater control cables!!! When i bought the car the guy told me that the blower switch didn't work, so he had like a togle switch running it on high when it is on.When i took the heater control panel off there was nothing hooked up to it. No cables or wiring. So i bought new cables and put them on but everthing except defrost is backwards. When the heater is off on the control panel its really on. So is the hot is cold and the cold is hot. Car is 69 Camaro that came with air but has been removed but still has original heater box and control panel. The wiring is a WHOLE nother story!!!

so no one has any ideas on how the heater lever is working backwards??

 

Keep switching the cables until it works properly

 

Could somebody have worked on heater box or heater core in put hot and cold contols and the heater door contol in backwards? Is that even possible?
