Headlight Issue
 

Just when I thought I had all of the electrical problems corrected another pops up. Gotta love the grounding issues with these 1st gens!

I was driving the other day and it was starting to get dark, I turned on the headlights and no problems. I decided to check the high beams and pressed the switch and the lights went off. Pressed it again and low beams came back on.

New headlights, new wiring harness, new dimmer switch on a 69. My thought is I may have a bad dimmer switch even though it's new. Any other thoughts from the experts? Thanks!

That happened to me. I replaced the highbeam switch on the floor and that fixed the problem. You must have a bad switch.
