Default Hedman 65003 headers for a 1969 problem

I have a ZZ4 with Trick Flow (angle plug) heads and I am having a tough time finding angle plug headers that fit the drivers side head without denting (clearancing) one of the tubes down near the steering shaft. I'll post pics when I get home. I have 1 3/4" Hedman 65003 headers and I was just wondering if anyone uses a different header that fits without denting any of the tubes.

Also, every header that I see advertised for a 69 says "not for close ratio Saginaw box". I'm not exactly sure what this means...or if I have this.

Thanks in advance

Yea... The Comp Series has 1 part # that says it'll fit angle plugs but it too says that it won't fit a close ratio Saginaw steering box. I don't know what that means. Is this the reason I have to dent my current headers? I need to find out what a close ratio Saginaw steering box is.

a close ratio box is a steering box that take less full turns from lock to lock. i cant remember how many turns a close ratio is but i dont see why its any differnt than a wide ratio box.

These are older 65003's but i can't see how the new ones are going to fit when it has a 1/4 gap and is not dented.
