Default GPS Tracker

I'm seeing more and more muscle and classics getting stolen. Any recommendations for GPS trackers that are not hard wired into the car?
Thanks

An old trick was buy a cell phone from a pawn shop and tape to the upper/back of the glovebox and turn on Location function.
This time was when flip phones were popular.

jeich455,
This is a good idea to have peace of mind when your car is parked. I used to have one that worked great. Especially when I traveled across the country in our 1956 Chevy. Unfortunately, it's no longer being supported. One feature that I would suggest looking for is if it has a 'geo fence' feature. You set the parameters around your car, if it leaves this parameter then, you should get warned via your phone. Then, you should be able to track it once it's on the move. The one negative is that there usually is a monthly fee attached.
I'm not a fan of alarms as most people ignore them anyway.
Currently, I'm still searching for a replacement.
Good luck on your decision. Let us know what you decide.
