Default Gouldstrand modification

Has anybody heard or better yet done a "Gouldstrand modification" to there first gen f body. I heard that it was a good one but I haven't heard it from someone that has done it. If it is so good than why don't we hear about it more? I know it's cheap, but I don't want to mess up my subframe either. If anybody knows anything about this mod please help me. Thanks

I looked this info up (Guldstrand mod)in the past. I was interested in the mod at one time, but I did not want to go to far with my car. I'm not planning to race it. This link helped me.

did you just see that for the first time, in one of this month's magazines?

it's called Guldstrand, and it's named after **** Guldstrand who came up with the idea. he was one of the first pioneers with racing the Corvette, and later the Camaro.

the reason this mod was done, is because not too many years back (when I did my Camaro over the last time) there weren't that many companies doing aftermarket packages for these cars. this was an easy way to get better numbers out of your alignment, but now there are so many companies many tubular control arms and/or offset shafts for the stock arms, that people would rather just spend the money instead of doing the work.

if you are truly building your car on a budget, this is still one of the best free mods you can do to help your car out, if you want an aggressive alignment to help your car stick in the corners. this really isn't a needed mod though if you haven't done all the other things before it
