Front turn signal does not work
I have a 1969 Camaro. The right front turn signal does not work. I have replaced bulb, socket and wiring look good. rear turn signal works. With headlights on front light works but no turn blinker. Light on dash blinks like nothing wrong.

Not a pro, but sounds like something at the turn signal inside the steering column. Sometimes the connections are corroded and does not activate the blinker. While blinker is on, get a volt meter tester and start at the steering column harness before taking anything apart. Does your turn signal flasher work (making noise), check that wire too? Follow the wires to the source of the switch in side the steering column that would activate the signal.

Yes, flasher makes noise, back light works fine. I was thinking it might be a wire in the column also as everything else works. Thanks

Use a test light and go to a step by step process .To help find the problem

If dash indicator is working, then t/signal power to inside firewall connector is there as dash light gets power from firewall connector inside.
Check engine side connector. Welcome to club. |
