First gen convertible top boot question

Hi together,
I'm looking for a first gen convertible and I'm wondering if the first gen convertibles were equipped with a factory top boot / cover? Or was this an option or only after market?

Yes, they have covers snapping on.
Welcome to the club Search eBay for 1st gen 'verts and take a look.

Originally they came with the car but a replacement is easy to find.

I only use the cover if I'm showing my car. They're very hard to snap on.
