Will the A/C Evaporator engine side case half fit or bolt on the small block Evaporator case or does the whole Unit need to be changed ?

Really no one has tried this, put a big block in a small block a/c car ?
Can I just change the engine side of the evaporator box? will it mate up to the small block a/c or does the whole evaporator case have to be replaced ?
