Default Engine Decoding

I feel a little dumb not being able to decode these numbers so I am turning to you guys to see if you can help. This is a small block that is curently in my 67 RS. I do not have dirrect access to my motor, it iscurrently over an hour away at a shop so these numbers were giving to me from a mechanic. Here they are... Block # 28L313495 VI208E

I have tried to decode them on a website thats helps you decode but am still left asking exatly what I have here for a block.
Any help I can get would be greaty appreciated!!

Ken

It was built on either the 8th of feb or dec - VI208E could be v1208e
the other number is not going to be very usefull for what you want, it is the vin number that goes with the car. The block is a 293 from 1957 or 1960. it could have been in a truck or a vette.
You need the casting numbers to confirm the numbers you already have.
